My Tips
Before the regulation: tune your harp carefully.
Try to spot obvious problems and share them with me. This way I will be able to immediately focus on the specific problem in combination with the standard regulation procedure. It will also be easier for you to feel the difference before and after the regulation and we will without doubt come faster to a very satisfactory result for
both of us.
Nobody knows the instrument better then it`s owner!
Also very important: if you’re planning to change some strings, please do so at least two days before the
regulation. It’s extremely difficult to control the intonation if the string is not settled yet.
After the regulation: Play your favourite piece of music, try out some octaves and pedal changes.
It is very important to try your harp while I’m still around.
Firstly: because I will be very happy about your feedback!;)
Secondly: because I will be able to make some quick corrections or adaptations according to your wishes and observations. Sometimes there are small differencies between measurements of my tuner and yours. Also the individual playing technique can often play a role.
